With 20+ years of research experience, Julie has a solid track record of helping clients uncover strategic insights to drive informed business and design decisions. Julie specializes in multi-channel user experience, delivering insights to guide strategic and tactical implementation for the intersection of store, online, tablet, and smartphone. She also focuses on design thinking and innovation, and has recently been working on data-driven personas for multichannel retail clients. She is methodology “agnostic,” working with clients to find an approach that will deliver the necessary insights on time and on budget, and drawing from traditional and online techniques.
Julie is the founder and principal of BellaVia Research, a qualitative consulting boutique. Prior to launching BellaVia Research, Julie worked with Creative Good in New York City and San Francisco as an online user experience strategy consultant, utilizing customer research to create strategies and interface designs that the transform online user experience. She is based in Santa Cruz, CA where she lives with her husband and two young daughters and a crazy dog.They all have curly hair
